Time consuming recharging and sluggish performance will no longer be a requirement for “all electric” vehicles. Our technologically advanced, rapidly rechargeable electric power and storage system will make “all electric” vehicles as practical and usable as gasoline cars are now. This unique technology allows electric vehicles to be “refueled” just as conveniently as putting gasoline into conventional vehicles, and will provide power levels and performance comparable to gasoline engines.This all electric power cell technology is designed to enable the consumer to power their vehicles at approximately half of the current cost of gasoline. And as this is an all electric process, there is no waste or exhaust release from the vehicle or the refueling stations, greatly reducing the pollution load when compared to that generated by gasoline powered vehicles. This battery system is also directly applicable to long term storage of electrical power for on-demand or emergency use, and has a shelf life expectancy of tens of years, far exceeding any other energy storage system currently known.

NASA/JPL Development Process
Alchemy has contracted NASA-JPL for optimization and production support for the electric power cells. The California Institute of Technology, and Jet Propulsion Laboratories, a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) for NASA is, under this contract, our direction and our patent, developing and building the prototype 100 kW Electric Power Cell unit.

Acceptance by NASA-JPL
NASA-JPL accepts very few third party Task Plans, and only then those with particular merit. The fact that NASA-JPL has contracted for development and optimization of the Electric Power Cell technology, lends significant credibility to the merits of the technology, and its successful application.

Timeline
Alchemy is diligently working with NASA-JPL to prepare for the public demonstration of the Electric Power Cell by December of 2006.
